　　"Global" does not mean products that are consciously identified as American，but ones that consumers-especially young people-see as part of a modern，innovativeworld in which people are linked across cultures by shared beliefs and tastes.

　　本句的主干是“global”does not mean products...but ones...，两个that引导两个定语从句，分别修饰products和ones; in which引导的定语从句修饰world;两个破折号中间的部分是对 consumers的解释说明。

　　global意为“全球性的”。consciously意为“有意识地;自觉地”。如:

　　innovative意为“创新的”。如:

　　动词的过去分词在句中作形容词的情况有很多，除了本句中提到的shared，还包括:

　　※ lighted“燃烧着的”。如:

　　If you drop a lighted cigarette, you could set off a fire.如果你把一根燃着的香烟掉在地上，就有可能引起火灾。

　　※ drunk“喝醉了的”。如:
